For the Region. By the People.
When I was asked to lead EMENA-EIC, I accepted for one reason: Because I`m done waiting.
For too long, brilliant minds from EMENA have waited for permission. Waited for platforms built elsewhere. Waited for global models that never quite fit who we are.
No more waiting.
EMENA-EIC was born because we need something of our own. Not inspired by others. Not managed from afar. But built here — by us, for us.
This is not another design council. Not a copy of international frameworks. This is a regulatory, strategic, and cultural body — designed to serve the complexity, ambition, and soul of our region:Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa
We are bringing the best of global thinking into our region — But we don`t copy it. We translate it. We shape it to fit us.
We work with governments, private industry, and universities — but we are not owned by any of them. We are politically neutral. Economically independent. And we do not follow influence. We own our direction.
We exist to:
Even our identity carries this message. The warm golds of the Middle East, the earth of North Africa, the stone of Europe, the blues of the Mediterranean. These are not just colors. They`re our landscape, our memory, and our flag.
And our structure isn`t symbolic — it`s operational.
We will be questioned. We already are. But this is what it means to lead without apology. If you believe EMENA can lead without asking for permission — You belong here.
We`re not just starting a council. We`re building what no one thought we could. And we`re just getting started.
